with slanting rays of sun
as whites disappear
into approaching dark
jealous ambiance helplessly
stood watching quick
hiding of the sun behind
a small hill
a reminder of another hill
from where it will reappear
in hours from now
brings smiles in anticipation
of curvy lanes with small
and huge vehicles moving
up and down
as for now
small lanterns glow on earth
matching with stars above..
