I read something on the wall
A place of worship
Not belonging to any religion or
Any particular God
Curious, I stood
While someone from inside
Moved forward
"Come in, you're like my daughter
Or you may call, my sister
I'll show you this place"
Amidst nature nicely built
Where all scriptures kept
Purity seemed bliss
This person's unfamiliar
Saint like behavior
No, not
Too early to say anything or judge
Taking through stairs
Showing various rooms
Brought to a small door
Offered re
raisins with a sudden hug
As I stood sans clue
While hesitating to get inside
No other being near
Except that old man and a guard
Noting apparent to fright
I asked permission to leave soon
Suddenly he changed
who till now appeared like a boon
"How can you leave so soon"
Something somehow in his voice
Didn't seem right
Without replying
I fled from that scene
While he kept calling, poor being
Promised myself,
Never to trust a stranger
Not to take anything!
